JD'S BAR & GRILL - SHOWCASE Described as a serious Australian talent, LEANNE TENNANT is the recent winner of best Blues & Roots Queensland Music Awards - 2015, with her debut album, "Pull Up Your Britches" being described as Remarkable by Rhythms Magazine.

Leanne Tennant is set to perform as part of the JD'S BAR & GRILL - SHOWCASE as she returns from performing at JB Arts Festival in Malaysia.

Her leading single "Bearing the Crown" is currently on rotation on American Music Channel - ZUUS Media and has gained support from Marc Riley BBC 6 music, triple j & 612 ABC Brisbane. She has toured and worked alongside artists such as Cold Chisel, Ash Grunwald, Kasey Chambers, The Audreys & Hatz Fitz & Cara.

Leanne weaves a rare mixture of styles driven by a raw and honest performance, peppered with suggestive lyrics and a fiery backhand. Some call her Blues, some call her Horror-Country, however, Leanne just continues to create music that no one genre is worthy containing.
